ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
ELINSA seeks continuous improvement of Quality in the provision of services, the greatest commitment to the Environment, to have the highest levels of Health and Safety in its activities and to have optimum protection and exploitation of the results of R&D&I activities.
For this reason, it has implemented an Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, OSH and R&D&I, in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and UNE 166002 Standards.
In this way, the concept of continuous improvement is promoted as a permanent objective. Quality, Environmental, OSH and R&D&I Objectives are established and periodically reviewed, according to measurable values, predictably attainable and which serve to define the direction in which efforts are oriented.
The efficiency of the Integrated Management System is the responsibility of the Management. In its name and on its behalf, the Heads of Quality, Environment, OSH and R&D&I supervise its implementation, development and maintenance.
The Integrated Management System Policy remains publicly available and is communicated, understood and accepted by all personnel in the organisation or working on its behalf.
QUALITY
In order to offer the best level of quality in its services, ELINSA adopted in 2000 a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard. This standard is continuously revised and adapted.
Continuous improvement and customer satisfaction are permanent objectives. Based on this, improvement objectives are established and periodically reviewed, defining measurable values that are foreseeably attainable and in line with the direction in which efforts are oriented.
The general guidelines for the achievement of these objectives are as follows::
- To achieve full satisfaction of stakeholders (customers, suppliers, staff, etc.) by providing services in accordance with requirements, needs and expectations, including reference standards or current legislation.
- Meet the requirements established according to the ISO 9001 standard.
- Improve the service, by detecting and immediately rectifying any errors, through personalized monitoring of the service.
Establish a documented systematic approach to ensure the quality of services.
Environment
In 2006 ELINSA integrated the requirements of ISO 14001 into its management system.
The environmental commitment is developed through operational control procedures and the setting of targets to reduce the environmental impacts caused.
The general guidelines for the achievement of these objectives are as follows:
- Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements in environmental matters, as well as respecting the commitments subscribed to or required by customers.
- Comply with the requirements set out in the ISO 14001 standard.
- Prevention of all types of environmental aggression, especially pollution, depletion of natural resources and minimisation of the generation of any type of waste.
- Establish a documented system to ensure respect for the environment.
- Continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System defined in ELINSA to optimise operations while minimising environmental impact.
Health and Safety at Work
In 2017 ELINSA integrated the requirements of the OHSAS 18001 specification into the existing Management System to demonstrate through certification the assurance of the following aspects:
- The identification, assessment and effective control of work-related risks in order to minimise occupational accidents and diseases.
- Matching the employee to his or her job through systematic monitoring of his or her health status.
- The planning of preventive activity that integrates the necessary preventive and protective measures and the continuous monitoring of their effectiveness and efficiency.
Subsequently, following the publication of ISO 45001, the IMS was adapted to the new requirements in 2020.
OSH-related activity is coordinated through an OHS Manager who is responsible for ensuring that management and department heads integrate and comply with preventive planning in the activities carried out.
